A few words about UX/UI design
UX/UI design is all about the visibility and functionality of different user interfaces. When it comes to applications, software and computerized systems, UX design determines the logic, order and structure of all the elements in the interface. UI design, on the other hand, implements the design experience, from color selection to font size and placement. Together, they both impact how the user "feels" as he or she uses the application.
UX/UI design is meant to make it easier for the user to use the app, by making him or her understand the app's internal logic and maximize the app's apparent benefits. At the end of the day, the main goal of UX/UI design is to provide users with a positive feeling, which is aligned with the values of the app brand.
What does UX/UI design include?
That's a great question. Basically, UX/UI design "dresses" the app's code with layers of design, in order to make it intelligible for users. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. The app should also be very user-friendly and should encourage the user to use it for as long as possible, and to return for future use. That's what UX/UI is for.
UX/UI design encompasses the visibility and functionality of the different screens in the system, the banners and strips, and the buttons. In addition, UX/UI design takes into account the micro-copy that helps users understand what they can use the app for, and how. UX/UI design also makes sure all brand elements (logo, colors, and more) are integrated into the system in an optimal manner.
High-level UX/UI design provides users with a seamless and intuitive experience as they shift between screens and actions, giving them a sense that the app practically "flows" on its own.
